“Fighter Trailer : Siddharth Anand Dishes on Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, a Cinematic Journey Unlike Pathaan and War, Jan 25th”

Before the Republic Day celebration, there’s a buzz around Hrithik Roshan and Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter‘, drawing a massive response from the audience.

Fighter Trailer:

Following the release of the new trailer for the action film, social media users have showered both stars and the filmmakers with praise. The movie has even been dubbed the next big Bollywood hit by some.
In this movie, Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan are portrayed as Indian Air Force pilots participating in an aerial strike against Pakistan.
The narrative centers on the Indian military’s Balakot attack, which took place close to the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Balakot city.

Critics Reaction:

About 40 members of the CRPF lost their lives in an airstrike. This occurred as a result of a terrorist strike in Jammu and Kashmir carried out by the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) group. They did the airstrike as a way of fighting back.
The movie about this story was initially supposed to come out in September 2022, but it got delayed. So, they decided to release it in January 2023 instead. It’s interesting to note that Siddharth Anand’s film “Pathan,” starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, also released in the same month. What a coincidence, you think?

Subsequently, before finalizing the release date in 2024, it was shifted to September 2023. Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Fighter’ is no ordinary film, setting it apart from ‘Pathan’ and ‘War,’ according to director Siddharth Anand. The director took some time on Monday at the trailer’s debut to thank his hardworking crew and provide insight into the difficult process that went into making this film.

Fighter is no ordinary film:

“We’ve given our all to this. It’s not a common film. I have made action films in good quantity, but this has been an entirely different journey. It’s not a show of an individual but a team effort. Everyone has contributed to the film. My team is still working in the studio. I extend my sincere gratitude to each member of my team and everyone gathered here. Continue showing love,” he uttered.

Collaborating again with Siddharth after ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘War,’ Hrithik mentioned being grateful for the opportunity to work with passionate individuals in ‘Fighter.’ “An opportunity to work with crazy, passionate people like Sidd Anand, an opportunity to work with brave, emotional, and crazy people like Anil sir… I am incredibly appreciative to be surrounded by people who have sacrificed everything for me.
The humility and courage to give everything for cinema is the most valuable for me,” he added.

Anil Kapoor, coming off the success of the blockbuster film ‘Animal,’ described ‘Fighter’ as an “unprecedented journey.” He stated, “This film has taught me discipline, how to work selflessly, and today is Army Day; it’s a fantastic day to launch the trailer.”
Deepika Padukone, also featuring in ‘Fighter,’ was not present at the trailer launch. The film is gearing up for release on January 25, coinciding with the release of Siddharth Anand’s last film ‘Pathan.’
