“CSK IPL 2024 Opener Ticket Booking vs RCB Sparks Fan Frustration: Here’s Why”

CSK

The CSK, Chennai Super Kings have announced the start of ticket bookings on their social media handles and provided a link to their website to fulfill it.

CSK vs RCB on 22 March

Five-time champions CSK have started the sale of tickets for their opening match of IPL 2024 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. They intend to further solidify their dominance over Bangalore by using the Southern Derby. At Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium, the two greatest cricket players in Indian history, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, will face off again in what looks to be an exciting encounter.

Tickets are on

Both teams have massive fan bases across the country, but it might be challenging for RCB fans to dominate the home crowd at Chepauk.
Chennai Super Kings announced the start of ticket bookings on their social media handles and provided a link to their website to facilitate it. However, many fans had to face issues while booking tickets due to long queues.

CSK kicked off its training sessions

In the interim, CSK kicked off its training sessions on March 2, with the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravindranth Hangargekar, Mukesh Choudhary, and Prashant Solanki stepping into the mix. Captain MS Dhoni also attended the camp a few days ago, while Ravindra Jadeja and Moeen Ali arrived in Chennai on Sunday.

CSK suffered a setback just before the start of the season as New Zealand opener Devon Conway underwent surgery on his thumb after injuring it during the third T20 against Australia. He’s likely to miss at least the initial part of the tournament.
On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore has also begun its practice sessions as many foreign players have already joined their camp, but they are still awaiting their star, Virat Kohli.

Batting superstar Kohli returned to India on Sunday after the birth of his second child in London. Kohli last played for India in January against Afghanistan in a T20 series. During this period, anticipation surrounds his involvement in RCB’s forthcoming ‘Unlock’ promotional affair slated for March 19 in Bangalore.
